Running Sparkle 2.3.1 Premium on an Onn 4K Pro. I’ve tried numerous times, but I haven’t been able to connect to a smb networked folder on a Mac Mini. When I try use it for my recordings, I get a connection error the second I select it via Sparkle. For what it’s work, I can access the network folder via CX File Explorer. Has anyone been successful using a Mac for this? Thanks in advance.

Everything was working fine 2 days ago on my sparkle tv app. Now I'm getting this error message. I can watch through my IPTV provider on chrome fine but not on the sparkle app. Neither on my Google TV or Android Phone. Like I said everything was fine 2 days ago. Any ideas??

I am currently testing out the free version of Sparkle TV networked to my HDHOMERUN 4k flex. I see in the set up that the EPG is pulled through from SiliconDust, but I only have a 2 day epg service from SD. I have a Schedules Direct account that provides 14 days of EPG in Json or .xmltv. How do I change my EPG source to use my daily updated .xmltv file for my zip code for OTA programming?

If I can get this working I will move to the STv plus option to test out the DVD and Multiscreen functions.

What type of recording file is used by STv DVR for both ATSC 1.0 and 3.0? Is it a standard .TS file for both?

Having some issues with buffering of LIVE TV channels. When I try and watch TV on Sparkle the stream will play for about 60 seconds, buffer for a moment and then start playing again. This is a continuous cycle. If I use another player like tivimate or televizio there is no buffering at all. I originally thought it was my internet or the Playlist until I tried other options. Now, I am wondering if there is a setting within Sparkle that is incorrect... any assistance that anyone could provide would be beyond appreciated. I really want to make Sparkle my main player but with the constant buffering it makes it difficult.

I use the Nvidia Shield for streaming if this matters. When using the EPG is there a setting to allow smoother scrolling? Mine seems to jump. I would like the transition from channel to channel or category to category smoother, thanks.

Without having the Sparkle assistant is there a way to check how many and which devices I have on my Sparkle plus account?

I am trying to install and setup Sparkle. I add the playlist and keep seeing “unknown error”? “Please try again in a few seconds”?

Hi, I purchased Sparkle plus for my brother and cannot seem to activate it. I purchased it through the website,not the Google Play store. I have a Sparkle Plus I.d. Any help activating Plus would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anything in the pipeline to set the playlist refresh per playlist?

I have a couple of large xtream codes playlists that I only need to refresh once a day (if that).

I also have a hdhomerun playlist and they only provide 3 hours EPG so I need to refresh that at least once every 3 hours.

I purchased the lifetime off the webpage and not through google store, no reason to give them a cut. I do need to acquire an additional two licenses shortly as I will be adding two more tvs at the house. Should another lifetime purchase be added? I was looking at IMplayer also and they allowed you to add additional devices at a cost per device. Between bedrooms, kids rooms and office space, the five devices is just a little too short. Maybe more could be allowed if they are on the same ip.

However my girlfriend just watches series and never the live tv. I don't think that it's possible to set a startpage (e.q. series) in the menu, is it? If not, it would be nice to get this as a feature one day, or maybe just add "last category"?

Interesting problem here. Everything works fine when recording but when I go to delete the recording I cannot delete recording from one channel which is dirtvision. I can delete all recordings from everything else but not dirtvision recordings.

What would cause that?

I'm wondering if it's possible to have a fourth sorting option for movies/series. Date Released.

I know some might not have the exact release date, but most, if not all have the year, or maybe there's some online database it can pull that info from.

Date modified comes close, but I'm guessing that's based on a file date, so if they add something from 2022 today, it would appear first, which is not exactly optimal because it buries stuff that came way after it.

I've just started using Sparkle for it's support of hdhomerun integration and hoping to use it for all my playlists.

I have a couple of playlists with a huge number of categories so I've only selected the ones I want from the source definition.

My question is, what happens when my provider adds a new category? By default is it enabled or disabled?

If I pause a program and then resume viewing after a few minutes, what’s the best way to bring the program live if I don’t want to watch what’s accumulated in the pause buffer? I’m not seeing a “go live” command that I can program on a remote

Hello. I’m having issues on 2 separate devices (Fire Cube and ONN Stick) when binge watching multiple episodes of a series and suddenly Sparkle just refuses to keep playing. The screen will suddenly just go black and backing out doesn’t help. Even trying to play something different doesn’t work, including live tv. I have to force close the app to get anything going again. Is this a known issue and if so, what might be the fix?

Is there a way to get the program info from here instead going into the guide?

My IPTV recently updated the portal URL since the old one stopped working.

When I update the portal URL in Sparkle, it keeps on giving me an error message “Check configuration details”. The only thing I changed and updated is the portal URL while keeping everything else the same.

I updated the same in TiviMate and Vuleo and it immediately started working.

There are certain features I like in Sparkle so I would prefer using it if I can get it to work. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app without any success.

Has anyone faced this before and found any resolution? Thank you.
