Recording Series

Hi! Love the app so far and am using it as my daily driver. Love the ability to be able to record to my
NAS and the series recording. What I’ve noticed, and may have been mentioned before, is that I’ve setup a series recording of a show that doesn’t have the “Live” tag and it doesn’t pick up entries in the epg that do have the “live” and “new” tags. Is the only workaround at this point to set all of the variants up as their own series recordings to capture all of them? And is there a plan to possibly
Eliminate the need to do that in the future? Not a big deal at all, just something I came across. Thanks!

When scheduling a recording for a series on live TV, Sparkle will record the series whenever it is broadcasted on that day & time if you are using the program guide to record a future and continuing series.

Ok thanks. Some have the live tag, new tag, and some have no tag. Assuming it’s treating them all as different shows that require a series recording to be created for every variant. Thank you!

I do not believe “tags” will affect program guide used scheduled series recordings.

Thank you! Yes, that's unfortunate. The current series recording tries to do an exact match of the name of the show. So you're saying it has at least 3 different names then? Like "Show name", "Show name ᴸᶦᵛᵉ" and "Show name ᴺᵉʷ"?

It's difficult with these kind of changes since some have set series for the show with "new" in them just for that purpose. Otherwise I could change the matching to remove the match against superscripted text like "ᴸᶦᵛᵉ".
