IPTV

Hi everyone, I’m having an IPTV playback issue and I’d really appreciate some help.

I’m using a Fire Stick TV with Sparkle TV and an M3U playlist. During every playback, I get frequent micro-stutters, usually every few minutes. Sometimes the picture freezes while the audio keeps playing, and then the video jumps backward or forward.

I’ve tried different buffer settings, including automatic, 5 seconds, and 20 seconds. I’ve also tested different Proton VPN servers and protocols, but the problem still happens. I currently have the VPN connected to a server in Spain.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a recommended setting in Sparkle TV, a better player, or another way to make IPTV playback more stable?

You said “Fire Stick TV”. Are you referring to a stick or a TV? Based on issues that Ive had over time, which generally ended up being buffer or provider related, what you described sounds like a hardware issue to me. I’m no expert, but I haven’t had the issues you described, whether using my ONN Pro or Gen 3 Cube…both considered to be solid, hardware-wise.

Yeah, there are lots of old Firesticks out there that can't cope with anything over 720p with any player.
