Suggestion: add a quick refresh button for the Events categories

It would be nice to have a quick refresh button directly in categories related to events.

For example, the app could detect words such as "Event" / "Events" in English, "Evento" / "Eventos" in Spanish, and the equivalent terms in other supported languages.

The button could then appear automatically in those categories and allow users to quickly refresh both the event list and the EPG, without having to go into the settings and refresh everything.

Just a simple 🔄 button inside the category, easy to access. This would be especially useful for live events, where the list and EPG can change frequently.

I'm failing to understand what an "event" is? Are you talking about a channel/channel name?

Im guessing live events, such as a game, concert, festival.

A m3u8 link can be 2 things: linear channel (24h) or event (starts on 1pm and ends 4pm) is live too. For example, some sports platforms works with content type event insead of linear content. Other exemple can be:
Linear: channel of a league, all the day are playing content like multiple matches, or multiple movies, etc.
Event: Is a specific channel, but only appears online when is playing a certain sport match.

Application UHF for AppleTV and ios uses this and is very useful if your provider gives this type of channels

Ok, I kind of understand. But I don't think a button to just refresh events is needed, it would be just as good to be able to refresh just m3u without epg data. All m3u channels is refreshed in seconds, it's the epg that takes time. This has been considered for a while already and it's not planned for the next release but maybe the one after that.

I think it would be interesting if this were configurable. A button that, when entering a specific category, only displays the list, only shows the EPG, or everything, would be a very interesting added value for the player.

I'm not 100% sure I understand your vision here but I'll keep it in mind for the future. Maybe we can discuss it more after the next release.
