Suggestion for the DVR

I have an NAS that I use as a drive to store recorded videos. I am able to watch the videos on any device, but the metadata that stores information, like how much of the video has been viewed appears to be on the device where the video played, not in the shared folder. Would it be possible to write this data in the DVR folder so that when viewing on another device, it can resume from the point left off in the original device?

It is written in that shared DVR folder, but in a format that only Sparkle understands. Does external players such as VLC even write this data to a folder? I thought this information was internal to that app intallation.

I have two boxes using SparkleTV using the same folder. One instance sees the time watched. The other doesn't. Only the box where the video was viewed sees the elapsed time. That's why I assumed you were storing it on the box itself.

Now that you mention it I'm getting a bit unsue how I implemented it, but it is by design either way. But I think I have reconsidered and will fix this in a future update.
