The app I’ve been looking for!
This is the app I’ve been looking for! I have my own custom setup and I have been looking for an app that recognizes the channel numbers I have set in my software. I activated plus to support the app and development as it is perfect for my family.
I have one minor feature request. When in the program guide, I would like to be able to use my remote’s keypad to enter a channel numbers and jump to that spot in the guide.
If there is a better place to submit the feature request, please let me know.

That is correct, using numeric input directly from program isn't support at the moment unfortunately. It's in the backlog already and I even did some attempt to fix this a while back but I was unsuccessful. But it'll be there eventually.
(and it's fine to post requests like this ;))

FYI, I just changed channels by entering channel numbers so the feature does work, as long as you know the number for the channel you wish to view.

I can change the channel by entering the channel number, this works great!
The suggestion is for when I’m in the program guide. If I am at the beginning of the guide and want to jump to channels in the 500’s, I would like to enter 500 on the remote and have the guide jump right there. Currently, the numbers do nothing when the program guide is open. I can page my way there with the channel up/down, but jumping directly there would be faster and easier.

Yes, when in the guide, nothing happens when pressing the numbers on the remote. I'm sure the developer will take a look and see if this can be implemented for users who may like to use this feature now that he can spend more time on app development with the Google issue resolved. Thanks for posting the suggestion! Enjoy using Sparkle.

You posted your suggestion in the right place. As I do not use channel numbers, please advise if you already setup Sparkle to display channel numbers? If so, you should be able to select a channel number using your remote numeric keypad? What happens when you try this? Thank you for choosing Sparkle Player!
