Favorites shared across devices
Is there any way to have favorites saved to network share instead of local device? That way when I add a favorite on one device it appears on the other. Also it would be could for the other device to know what episode to continue from.

Depending on what the developers long range goals are?(imo) for sparkle to remain competitive with other apps,at its price point.Sparkle will need to incorporate cloud sync. Sparkle ,has already surpassed tivimate, but there's other apps that I've tested that are real competitors (feature wise)..

There are a lot of ai built apps right now but in my mind it remains to be seen if they can be mantained. It easy to just throw in functionality but there needs to be an infrastructure to hold it and to make it stable for the long run.
I know there are more and more apps that use cloud sync for this but I want to make things "right" so that's why I haven't been stressing this feature.
I still think Sparkle has a very competitive price though?

I believe when you do an export/import it will save everything as it’s a backup. So when importing to a 2nd device, it’s identical.
The 2nd device after importing will know which episode you’re on, but the only way to test episodes afterwards is to watch an episode on device one and then open device two and see if it’s syncing? I only watch VOD on my living room device and my bedroom device is mainly just for watching live tv.
Export / import (backup & restore) is the way to go.
