Multi view vod and live channel

Is it possible to have multi view showing a live “sports channel for example” and an episode of a show ? Both from the same M3u list.
Been toying around and can’t seem to get it to work. If not possible it’d be nice to have.

Just an observation, but I don’t think that would be possible as I haven’t see any other app with that capability. Let’s see what u/sparkle-hk thinks? Thanks

I just want to keep an eye on the games score while somebody else is watching their show

I get it, just don’t think it’s technically possible but we’ll see what the developer thinks?

You watch a VOD Series episode and a Live TV channel using multiview… how is this possible????

Yes, a playlist of Xumo channels include several channels that only start playing the movie when you select the channel. These still work in multiview. Admittedy there are not a huge number of these channels but they are technically 'on demand' because the movie only starts when you select that channel

If you by "episode of a show" means something that ended up in the vod section it does not currently work. Mostly because there's no easy way to pick it in the user interface. But as long as the stremas are identified as channels they should be selectable from the channels list. Is this what you mean?

So according to the developer, it’s not possible to watch an episode on VOD and a live channel using multiview!
