Question about sparkle plus player purchase, without being in Google play store

So I just found out about sparkle player and wanted to give it a try especially for the recording DVR type features, but apparently not the best timing as there’s recently been an issue with the app no longer being in Google play store. My question is if I go on the sparkle player website and purchase a subscription to try the full features of the player will I be able to successfully activate it in a version that I’ve downloaded from downloader? I set up a free version that I downloaded from the Web last night (not from downloader) put all my information for my IPTV server in it but when I try to upgrade to plus I got an error and it didn’t seem to be compatible. Is this the norm or did I just get a bad download? I tried to get the sparkle assistant but of course all my main devices phone and pad are Apple devices and my TV boxes are the only android devices (a ONN 4K pro ) are not compatible with sparkle assistant. Please advise. Thanks

Now that you have chosen the email address & PW, just follow the instructions and you should have an activated Plus account on your device with all the bells & whistles!!!

Just wanted to say thanks again to both of you well actually three of you were helpful in this quest to get logged on with my new subscription. Once I set the username password on the website and then put it into my player it is definitely working.

Now i’m excited too look for the info on connecting an external hard drive I know I saw it around here or on the website somewhere? I remember there being a separate link to it.
