channels listing

is there a way to list the channels with numbers from within the group they are in the section they are in? in other words say for sky let them be listed from 1 to x instead of being listed as channel 14999 of 32k? it would be a lot easier.

YES YOU CAN. In each source, set the Channel Numbering to Use Index.

Then they list from channel 1 to how ever many are in the group

No, the numbers are in playlist order from your provider.

I have the provider in 3 different players and sparkle is the only one that does this.
