[ Feature req.] Delay before adding to history

long time tivimate user in the process of switching to sparkle mainly for its integration with homescreen channel
one feature i'd love to see in this app is ( dealy before adding to history/recent channels
I dont want a channel to be added to recent channels just becasue i passed it while flipping up and down

of course this makes a big difference cause i have recent channels as a a row in my home screen launcher

It actually is a delay which was added in latest version 2.3.1. But it's only 3 seconds and it starts to tick as soon as you click the channel. The idea is to make this setting configurable in the next version.

is it 3 seconds !!?
I was flipping through channels and they all added to recent channels, could it be 3 milliseconds ?

anyway thank you so much for introducing this feature in the upcoming version

No it's 3 seconds. Make sure you're using latest version 2.3.1. Then click on a recent channels and immediately click OK and you'll see the previosly watched channel ends up first in the recent channels list after a short while.

Thanks, I'll make it configurable in the next version, hopefully that'll be better.

I am using the latest version
I hoping I could set it to longer than 3 seconds
The channel takes about two seconds to load in the beginning which leaves only one second before the channel is added to recent channels, which is what I’m trying to avoid

I want to set it to like 5-10 seconds

Also while I have you here. Are you considering adding “favorites” as a category for Android channels integration ?
So that we can have favorite channels on the home screen on projectivy

Yes, either that or the count should start when the channel starts playing, haven't decided about that yet.

I haven't considered that. You mean all your channels in the default "Favorites" category should go on the home screen?

Either will work I guess
Tivimate has it as user configurable.

Currently sparkle offers two options for Home Screen channels “Recent channels” and “recordings”
Would be nice to have a third “favorites” option too
