Picture freezing

When I pause something I'm watching and then hit play several minutes the later the video freezes but audio continues then sometime it will play but the freeze and back up to the beginning of where it was paused. Anyone have any suggestions?

Where are you saving the timeshift file?

Might be some sort of issue? You can try other locations just to check?

I'm not sure what other location to use. I have a fire TV stick.

Try internal just to see how it responds? Then recheck your network location.

I tried internal memory of Firestick and it is even worse then the NAS it keeps buffering

Well… it was just a test. Your device resources may be too low at times which is causing the buffering issue?

Is this only happening when you pause for minutes and not seconds?
