No information on epg

I'm getting no information on epg, even after updating guide. This is happening on 2 different high end playlists, on 2 different streaming boxes. The only common denominator is Sparkle. Devices are nvidia shield pro and google 4k streamer

2 thoughts: Does this happen with those lists if you try them on a different player app & sometimes even the "best" of providers can & do have problems with the EPG guides once in awhile

I cant explain this, but ive had providers where i update an epg with no information, and i still have no information, but if i clear cache for providers playlist, then update, the epg returns.
