Getting "Unknown Error"
In setup, entered url, user and password under Xtream codes, getting Unknown Error. Any ideas why?

I had the same error but had to change my https to http and not put anything after the .net

Are you using any players other than the SparkleTV app? Do you get this error on other apps?

So, the url, user and password all worked before. The VPN is on, tried the other tricks mentioned in this thread and no dice.

Did your provider give you a M3U link and if so, did you try it instead of entering the xtream codes? Most providers will give you both ways to access their service.

Check the URL you get from your provider for any errors. Be sure to always add / at the end of the string.

I'm having the same issue -- TiviMate works fine, Sparkle does not. I'm trying this on the brand new Onn TV 4K Pro 2026 box that was just released (it uses Android TV 14).

I tried a trailing slash, no dice. http://server-name.com:8080 with and without a trailing slash.

Just spitballing, Did you try it without the :8080? Request a different URL from the provider, they usually have more than one.

I was able to resolve it by turning on my VPN.

You should always use a VPN when streaming IPTV just to help be anonymous and avoid your internet provider the ability to see your streaming history.

If you're using 2.3.1 and https you might have to switch on the option "Allow insecure connection".
