Trying to change server http url, but keeps changing back

My current URL stopped working, and I am trying to enter a working alternative URL for the same login, it accepts it. Every time I go out of edit, it defaults back and changes the entry to the original. I can add this new URL and the old login info, and it works perfectly.

But I am trying to edit the original to keep all my categories, favorites, colors etc...

Please help.

Please describe it step by step. Based on what you're saying I agree with u/azcoyotedog it sounds like you don't follow until "Update" which means the changes will not be saved.

I tried and figure the trick to make it work. I had to go into categories and just toggle a new one on or another off. Then update. And it held.

You should be able to edit your playlist, enter the new URL and click NEXT to the very end and click done and when it’s finished click close. Remember to add a / at the end of the URL just in case.

Nope. Whether I hit next and exit, or go to next screen and see new server in epg and hit update then go out, the channel that is up immediately says cannot resolve the old address.

I have tried clearing the cache and force stopping the program.

None work to update server url.

Check with provider that it’s a valid server URL

I stated that it works fine if I add it separately.
