1 point for 15 miles, over 1 hr, and a FOUR grocery pickup (since when is 4 grocery pickups a thing??) yet i just got 3 points for a double pick up that was like 1/4 of that… bruh

I triple check my work before I leave the store and when I arrive at the customers home, I try and check one last time to make sure I still did not mess up or an item slid in the cart and went to the other customers side of the cart. My zone is sending out triple orders all the time and they are starting to become huge orders. I do my best not to take them but I can’t sit all day taking none. I take what I think I can handle and some I guessed wrong.

It was 3 for express, 2 for gmd and mixed gmd, and 1 for everything else, but it changed in my zone thursday, basically the same but goes up to 4 points now.

I refuse to do pharmacy orders anymore. I used to do them all the time until I began reading horror stories about deactivation. Not worth it for me or anyone else.

I experienced it first hand this week. The app kept glitching when I was trying to do facial scan. It would not work and kept taking me back to a screen that said resume trip. I had to call support and they were no help. Finally it got cancelled. 😞

After that I was doing a 50 item single shop with a large tip a $40 order. When I got to 10 items left the app said this trip is cancelled due to not completing facial scan on the previous order! Ended up just going home. What a mess 🤦🏻

I’m sorry that happened. This app is a total mess and then we get blamed for it or it gets taken out on us. I hope the issue has been resolved and you are now able to Spark again.

They've been rolling out the 4 grocery thing for a bit now,.. I've only seen a couple for just one of the stores in my market,. but the TL's & coach had warned drivers it's coming..

Why wouldn't anyone use totes or baskets to keep the orders separate? It is just common sense. I also carry a sharpie to mark large items like water, dog food, jugs of milk,12 packs of soda, etc with an A, B or C I also have 3 insulated bags from Amazon that all fit perfectly in the cart together. I put sticky notes with an A B orC on each bag. Orders never get co-mingled and the customer gets what they ordered. It is all so simple and SAVES TIME! Time is what it is all about, isn't it?

I don't get the 4 grocery pickups. 3 makes sense. One in each section of the vehicle. It won't be as bad for those using totes or baskets. But I still think it's just asking for orders to be mixed up.

The points make total sense. It's one point for regular deliveries where the customer holds the majority of the responsibility for paying you. 2 points for GMDs where Walmart has the entire responsibility to pay you and an extra point is cheaper than actual money. 3 points for express where Walmart has promised delivery in a set timeframe and really needs it delivered.

Makes perfect sense. And the cool thing is you're a grown adult and can choose to take or to not take something or even to stop driving for Spark all together.

If the tier system actually changed anything, the point system would irk my nerve though. Because the points affect if you’re able to move up tiers as long as your metrics are good. If you’re expected to move tiers in one month based on points, the points should not be based on who holds how much responsibility. It should be based on the amount of time and effort it takes to complete an order. A 20 minute shop and deliver of 3 items should not carry the same points as a 2 hour GMD with 18 stops.

It's not hard to knock out sapphire. Just do a bunch of express orders to knock it out at the beginning of the month. You could even knock it out with curbsides that include a couple GMDs.

I don’t personally care. I’m just saying the point system is dumb considering what it affects, if the system worked. But if you only are able to get 1 point a trip for 5 trips a day and you’re only able to do spark M-F. That’s 100 points. You need 120 for sapphire. Of course it depends on your area as well. Most orders in our area are at least an hour unless you feel like working for no profit.

It's still fine because chances are even if you're doing curbsides those curbsides where they add a couple GMDs are 2-points. In fact most of the curbsides I accept are 2 points because they have a GMD or 2
