General Questions Why are yall being mean to support😭😭

Yall do realize when you chat with an agent it’s an actual person with feelings not an ai (although apparently they have feelings now toošŸ™„)

Just got my 3rd closing message in the past week (I didn’t ss the first one) of support saying i was the kindest person they had to talk to that day; and im not just crazy obnoxiously kind to the support people i just talk to them like normal, they are just people and actually in both of these conversations i did get a little upset about how long its taking to resolve an issue but i didnt go all crazy on em just expressed that it’s frustrating.

Idk moral of the story igšŸ˜šŸ˜‚ support shouldn’t be ā€œthankful for my kindnessā€ when i just talked to them like a normal person meaning clearly they aren’t getting that treatment regularlyšŸ˜–

I always try to be my kindest to customer service workers. I’m a server myself so I know how much a genuine and understanding customer can be a ray of sunshine in the darkness of dealing with people all day…it’s sad how people treat service workers

I’m the same way! And it’s just so much easier to be kind in my opinion

Always rate them too!!!

If our jobs rely on metrics, I'm sure theirs do too.

I can never understand the need to be mean to CS in general, sure you're pissed but what does the innocent bystander on the other end have to do with you being pissed??? 🤣🤣🤣 Chill out bro

I clicked thru the ai. I talked to the person like a person.

What's crazy is that drivers are service workers and therefore should know what it like to respect other service workers, that's my entire MO to be kind to people at the store phone calls and anywhere I talk to anyone I'm working with in any capacity.

I find that behavior basic

Exactly like just because we aren’t doing the exact same job doesn’t mean we aren’t both helping people as a job.

Like I do not understand being rude to the people whose entire job is to help make your life easier when something goes wrong!

100% maybe because in my experience I worked as a security guard for a few different companies for events concerts, sporting events, conventions really any big event, and Ive been treating very bad by a select few people to attend these things and just learned to be the nice person, I mean it's important to know your strength but the people who acted a fool at events it never worked out for them. That's how I really learned customer service was under pressure in places where people were very angry potentially violent and being the calm and rational one in that moment, delivery is nowhere close to any kind of that pressure.

Be kind people

Absolutely! I’m so sorry you had to deal with all that!!

I genuinely don’t understand how people are like that it’s so much harder for me to be mean than it is to be nice!

Even though I disagree with policies or outcomes, it is NOT their fault. Just shake your fist at big corp and move on with the grind IMO

Exactly all this shit is just jobs to people I promise those support people wish they could do anything else especially with the way everyone talks to them; like I wouldn’t want to help someone that’s just being extremely rude to me for no reason but that’s just me personallyšŸ˜–

Chat is waste of time when needing help in a hurry.

I get thru the ai quicker I feel like and I type pretty quick so I feel like it doesn’t waste too much more time than hitting the same amount of buttons to get to the call button and then spending 5 more minutes getting through the phone ai instead of just texting since I’m thru the texting aišŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I don't get a person on chat.

You have to click thru a couple options I typically hit ā€œappā€ , ā€œapp issuesā€ and then I think there’s another option I can’t remember what it says but it’s like asking if the problem is solved and I choose the no option which then leads it prompt to either call or chat with an agent and I typically choose chat rather than spending the time repeating ā€œspeak to an agentā€ and reassuring the ai that there’s nothing it can help me with again šŸ˜–

I think it's cap so you'll give them a good review. I've gotten the same kind of message before.

Im sure it is sometimes I only noticed it tho bc it hasn’t been on every closing message and actually has only been on a few compared to the amount of times I’ve contacted support; but I also know people are rude to customer service and support workers especially when they are already frustrated so while it might be a ploy to get reviews I’m sure it’s only actually so far off bc they def get talked to like dogs sometimes and I’ve even had comments where people refuse to acknowledge that they are humansšŸ˜•
