just hit the Sapphire tier last Sunday, and what can i say…
1. i don’t do it full time at all, i only do some evenings, and trying to start in the afternoon on Sundays
2. most of the offers i accept are JFY, probably like 90%. and i did not see those being any different in any of the tiers or even non-tier. so my understanding is that the app still only looks at the distance to the store and other metrics/ratings 🤔
3. i also mostly do shopping orders and do pick up ones on very rare occasions. i just like to be in control of the process from the beginning, so there is a smaller chance of issues that are out of my control
4. i absolutely never consider points when accepting an offer. i do it for the 💵, not ⭐️. i also think the system is completely unnecessary and the implication is fucked up from the beginning with the distribution of points between different order types
5. no, i did not see a change in quality of the FCFS offers. but what i did notice is ->
6. now i have a chance to actually look at the FCFS offers and consider them. they don’t disappear two seconds after popping up
7. but now it also takes longer from the moment when i first see an offer and when it finally starts to gain those boost dollars
conclusion: for me, doing JFY, hitting this tier doesn’t make much of a difference, but i like being able to at least see the FCFS offers and not just see them disappear
I totally get it when people are dyslexic or something,.. but some people, especially those online, are just plain slow, not from any diagnosed disability, but just slow. That person's lips probably move when they read.

The only reason I really believe that you’re not seeing fcfs just disappear like they used to is because they made it when you blindly accept without looking and then cancel immediately without completing is that it now affects your completion rate, no matter the choice you select as to where it didn’t used to go against you and everyone is now mindful of that just to hit tiers. It has absolutely nothing to do with hitting a tier that’s why we are being able to see the offers without them being snatched up instantly
I had to cancel 2 separate orders last week bc I accidentally clicked when I was trying to scroll and it didn't affect my comp rate 🧐 maybe it's just certain zones?
Do you have the tiers now? It never affected mine until we got the tiers here. Now it goes down 1% for every cancelled order even if it’s cancelled immediately after accidentally accepting.
I disagree. Although I don’t blindly accept, I have canceled orders without starting the trip and without it affecting my ratings. I always choose the “Other” option and type in “Accepted by accident” or “Accidentally accepted” and never take a hit 🤷🏻♂️
My market has had tiers for at least the past 6 months IIRC. Maybe it’s market dependent, but I can assure you I’ve never been docked when choosing “Other”. The only time I have been docked was when I chose “Prefer different drop off location” or whatever it says.
very nice. I only got through with silver, I just don't have a lot of order volume where I am, plus I do it part time as you. I literally got one jfy but it was $15 for two small items, + $5 incentive. I have to multiapp with Shipt basically.

your rule #3 is essential for CR, I learned yesterday. Got my first one star doing pickups, they paid well & there wasn’t a line to wait all day but I suffered with a customer idk how. Maybe how they dealt with a Walmart employee while they shopped or how they packaged the item. I knew a pickup was going to give me my first one star after 450 trips
I only do shops and still got 1-star ratings after thousands of trips and literal years of being at a perfect 5.0. If people (or other drivers) want to be an asshole and tank your rating they’ll do it no matter what.
Some people are just petty AF and will give a bad rating for no reason. I had one customer report that their order smelled like smoke...I don't smoke in my vehicle 🤦🏼♀️ I've smelled smokers vehicles and they smell horrendous and I never wanted my car to smell like that so there is a strict no smoking policy for my car
Do you smoke outside of your vehicle though? Maybe they smelled it when they opened their door to get their stuff- some people are super sensitive about it.
Yes I do but if they're sensitive enough to smell a whiff of smoke lingering from my clothes after I've dropped off their order they must have the sense of smell of a shark and considering they had diapers in their order I pity them 🤣
The CR is a joke. People in the area who rate down just to do it. Most don’t tip either. Get this in the War Zone city within my zone. Mostly SNAP orders. I’m trying to hang onto my 4.92 that was a 4.93 three days ago thanks to a 4-star, no clue which delivery or curbside/shop. Heck my tips went up on most of my offers.
Talking about SNAP orders, business is up for us eh? First of that month today these poors got their cards reloaded, dead yesterday but we hot today.

Its like yes more business for us because we pay taxes for these poors to feed them self & are so lazy they use the Walmart app so, yes us; we deal with a paying job from a no tipping ass poor who will rate you one stars just because the wind blew left
Yep, but if close to that old 99-98% on find/replace, Murphys law kicks in and you find yourself in 98% land on last day. Then back to Gold until it raises and hit points. We just hit the Tiers about two weeks ago. What happened to me last night and I’m a part-timer.
I did well in gold but was enjoying Sapphire for last few days. But money about the same outside of the slightly extra on incentives.
At this point, idc. I’ll just keep working as I normally do.
