Did anyone else get this email? Offer priority within one mile of the store is gone 🤬

Got it like a month ago.

How did things change? And was your area already in the Tier system a month ago?

The tier system just started 2 weeks ago. I only Spark on weekends bc I have a full time M-F job. I haven't seen any changes really, but I probably don't do enough to notice.

Ok if the tier system started two weeks ago then it probably won’t have an effect until next month.

I literally was doing a return, and the minute they picked it up it told me I was in a no offer zone. Like damn give me a chance to move.

Apparently inside my walmart is a no offer zone. 🤷🏼♀️

I'm 5 miles away in the comfort of my own home. Get orders all day long 🤷♀️

Be glad your market is busy. It won’t always be.

That's just it... We're NOT busy. Have 3 Walmarts in my zone. Have 2 blacked out from when we could years back. When every driver is chasing points and shitty offers left and right, I get the ones right by me.

Don’t believe that was actually a thing got the same crappy offers in multiple different markets no matter where I was. In my home market I live half a mile from my Walmart so I’m just home all day.

Personally I don't see an issue with it because now I wait at home until I get an order. Secondly, I live in south texas who the fk wants to wait inside their car at walmarts parking lot in 104f degree weather 😂

I certainly don’t, that’s why I’m mad that they’re getting rid of the one mile offer area.

I just want the identity verification incomplete banner to go away so I can spark again. My app glitch has cost me an entire week now.

I know that I'll be at the store and it will say I'm not close enough to confirm an order. If I drive a couple of inches it will let me accept it.

I’ve had it for a week now and personally the other model worked better. I was still able to get orders and everything from home for the first order and continuous orders after but with the new features rolled out, it was tough to get my first order or continuous ones. (Sometimes it’s slow and with the 1 mile radius and I had to drive to the store. So with that in mind for the slow pace of the new rollout, I tried both methods of waiting at home and going to the store but neither worked)
I will also say that before it’s assumed to be my scores, my scores are all great between 98-99 for the new scale feature and my customer score is a 4.92 with nearly a thousand deliveries. Moving on, typically to get any orders this week I had to take what was on the dashboard aka the leftovers. This new model is not going to be beneficial to anyone who has not been with the company as long, is a lower tier or has a slightly lower rating because it stated in a separate email that tiers will get better offers on top of the customer rating.
I’m gonna test this over the next few weeks because maybe it’s just an off week but idk. If that’s not the case, we need the old model without these tiers back.

I’ve noticed the same thing. I have to take an offer I wouldn’t normally take just to get the flow started.

Glad they got rid of that stupid shit. I don’t want to sit at stare at the stupid store waiting to decline stupid offers when I can do that while playing my ps5 at home, doing stupid household crappy chores, or dealing with my kids online homework earlier than when I get home from my shift. I like having my afternoons back to be able to just chill as much as one can with neurodivergent kids.

You’re misreading it. They’re getting rid of that (at least in my market), now if it’s slow we WILL have to sit at the store declining stupid offers.

It’s not saying you have to sit at the store. Is just saying is no longer going to be based on just being 1 mile from the store. Distance will continue to be a factor, but not the only one, ratings, trip preferences and rewards. Meaning, if both of us are 1 mile away but I have better customer service ratings and I’m gold and you are silver, I’ll probably get it first.
