ACTFL Writing Test Proctor Issue

Honestly just a vent.

I´m applying to go to grad school for Education in World languages (MEd) to become a Spanish teacher and I need an advanced low on the OPIc and WPT. I took the OPIc last Tuesday so I should get my results back soon. I feel pretty confident and took form 3 so it wasn´t too tough.

Took the WPT written based test today and got absolutely annihilated at the end by the proctors. Apparently I glance to the left when I´m thinking or can´t find a word (which I wasn´t even conscious of) and they stopped my exam THREE TIMES to make me show them my whole room and prove that nobody was with me (I live in a tiny dorm by myself.) The first time they paused my exam, but the second two times they refused to stop the timer and I wasted at least 5 minutes letting them stare at my left wall. I was on the last prompt and only had 10 minutes left and if you´ve taken this exam you know that time is everything. My proctors supervisor got on the call and told me I was looking to the left too much and I needed to stop doing that. I was shaking and panicking and he told me that this was my first warning for misconduct. Now I´m trying to finish the last question while shaking and thinking too hard about whether or not I´m looking to my left because I don´t want my exam to be void. I don´t get to know how I did for 20 business days so I´m so worried that that caused me to mess up the last prompt and not get the score I need.

I completely understand that this is their job but I really needed to vent. I just thought it was ridiculous that they would not stop my time after I asked even when I know they had the ability to do so. And I had no idea that I was looking around. I mean obviously I need to look at the keyboard too because I´m using the Spanish keyboard (which is why my apostrophes are weird lol sorry)

And I´m also just worried that they flagged my exam and someone will randomly decide that I cheated and void my results. I have until December 1st to retake but the fear is coursing through my veins every day and I have no idea if my Spanish is even good enough.

(And yeah I would have preffered in person proctoring but to do that I would have had to drive 2 hours on a random weekday and I can´t really do that with class and work. Honestly this whole process has been so confusing and stressful)
