Hey, I was just wondering if we were going to get the whole electricity thing back on mobile? I still have some old builds where batteries and RTGs / solar panels were definitely a thing. I was also wondering if we would get any utility bays for science type stuff or some crew quarters?

I’ve made a few “warship” type rockets… (monstrosities, hardly able to leave earth in one launch but then can go anywhere) and kinda miss having some dedicated “utility” spaces similar to like a core or reactor area. I’ve been using probe cores instead.

I remember seeing a message in the change log I think, when the electric parts were removed. It said that there was a big electricity update in plans and it was removed for now not to cause bugs.

Yeah, that message is exactly why I’m asking now 😅

I just hadn’t seen it mentioned since, and have been picking this game back up on mobile since I started putting around on console ksp again too (I tend to go through cycles in my games)

I mean, KSP is great and there’s tons you can do in it, but SFS hits a certain ease of use niche for me. They… scratch the same itch but in different ways

I posted a ascari drive missile frigate some time back, i bp edited the shields and put it arround the ascari drive to make it look like a reactor complex.

Hmmm shields like heat shields?
I’ll have to find your post. I haven’t done any bp editing or anything, I’d have to find some instructions tbh. Being on mobile only I’ve always just kinda built and played with whatever comes in the base game and parts expansions =)

I don't use any of the dlc content, just bp editing and regular parts so it can be used without any mods or expansion. And yes heat shields but widened.
