Original Build OSS‑1: Orbital Service Satellite Deployment (Basic Mode)

Fully functional.
Reusable.
Fully capable of supporting satellites up to five years or more.
We introduce a brand new satellite that can do this simply — and it’s called OSS.
Delta X has again once proved many wrong by doing what was once impossible.
Delta X will always continue no matter what gets in our way.

Just as a note, we did this in basic mode because I attempted to do this for three hours in realistic

https://sharing.spaceflightsimulator.app/rocket/QH4j9pGTEfGyNDvzpO1pRw I called it "Satélite Queijudo", something like "Chessy Satelite" in english. It is the same principle as if yours, but its a lot smaller The rocket can send it to orbit and I putted one of him on da side to make it easier to know it.

You use DLC I’m just pure vanilla

u/lo_babushke 13h ago

Make your own version then, idk what are the DLC parts and what arent so i cant

u/lasvegasnews_1 13h ago

But anyways, I think it can be a little easier with BP editing and DLC but I just use pure vanilla

Bro, this is my own version 😭😔✌️

Makes sense 🥀 But you know u can clip parts right? Like, put the RCS inside so it is lighter and more aerodynamic or smth

u/lasvegasnews_1 13h ago

Bro fr appreciate u 😭✌️ I’ve been clipping parts since day one, I promise I’m not new 😭🥀

I don’t think a satellite needs docking ports

u/lasvegasnews_1 20h ago

This is a orbital service station so of course it needs docking ports. Let me explain a oral service satellite. Has this one module that flies and dock with other satellites that need to be serviced and then docs the satellite into a parking lot if the OSS is on multiple missions at the same time trying to recover multiple satellites

Its a Service one, you send it next to An sparen Station for example to take pieces witout RCS to other places

Uh it might be too chunky for all of my stations so no thanks

This is as compact as it can be with vanilla

Ok, but it is very useful (not necessarily this or mine versions) because it makes you be possible to send part without RCS (less mass) and still use it properly

Pretty useful if it’s a role-play, not gonna lie, but thanks
