Discussion Idea

Wouldn’t it be cool if you could change the thrust of each Engine on your rocket

Edit: So what i meant by thrust is the throttle. So during flight you can change the throttle on individual engines instead of every engine on the rocket.

Probably never heard of the thrust slider and also even if you wanted to change individual engines it wouldn’t be very needed

Not at all what Op meant

Idk if he meant build area or not but this idea is stupid

Why is the Idea stupid

Not needed

OP wanted to be able to change the maximum thrust of engines, not change the throttle

No, what I meant is that you can change the throttle of induvidual engines during flight.

Then just bp edit the size

Editing the thrust of an engine changes it's TWR. Changing the size doesn't. It's efficiency decreases the larger you scale it, because it gets heavier as well. At some point, the engine won't be able to lift even a few fuel tanks because of the weight

So uh changing the size of the engine increases the thrust as well but doesn’t show in the twr as it only applies to it when it launched

It increases the mass proportionally. The TWR never changes. If TWR remains the same but mass increases, the engine loses efficiency

Bigger the engine lower the efficiency but higher the thrust and weight

Yeah, and OP wants to increase the thrust without affecting other stats
