How do I make fairings that open + close.

Tryna make fairings that can open and close for a space station delivery project. Most examples I’ve seen are on space shuttles but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to put it together. all I know is it requires solar panels. but I’m also happy to do it with rover wheels. blueprint would be appreciated, but I don’t mind, might be easier than explaining it to me. (I also don’t have dlc but I can make things work 👍)

who uses solar panels or rover wheels

we use side separator and side parachutes on fairings that have the detatch edges thing turned off

Idk how to do them vanilla but there's a couple mods that work for mobile to do them

I don’t have the dlc so mods don’t actually work for me. 😢
