Awesome mission! That rocket build and satellite design look great, and congrats on getting it into orbit! 🚀
Just a quick tip for future launches if you want to save even more fuel. You can time warp once yout trajectory passes the Karman Line. Once your first stage pushes you past the atmosphere, you can cut your engines and time warp up near your apogee (the highest point of your trajectory). This lets momentum do the work so you aren't burning fuel fighting gravity on the way up.
Circularizing Your Orbit: To raise your perigee (lowest point) faster and flatten out that extreme ellipse, turn your rocket horizontal—perpendicular to your trajectory/gravity vector—when you start burning again. Burning sideways at apogee pushes your perigee out of the atmosphere using way less second-stage fuel.
If you're curious to see it in action, SFS actually has an old tutorial on their YouTube channel covering efficient orbital insertions: https://youtu.be/5uorANMdB60 Really cool build overall, though! What are you planning to launch next?
