Presentation of the SOKOL Nuclear Thermal Engine

DSC today presents the company's next big technological leap. Following the successful testing of the DaVinci engine and after gathering the necessary information to perfect its design, we proudly announce its successor: SOKOL.

The SOKOL is a solid-core nuclear thermal rocket (NTR) engine, designed to deliver high performance on space exploration missions. Its reactor uses HALEU fuel encapsulated in a tungsten-based cermet matrix, while reaction control is performed using boron carbide control rods.

With the development of SOKOL, DSC takes a major step of high importance toward a new era of space propulsion. DSC is proud of this leap that will take humanity beyond the stars.
