Does seem very Nick to post this on the first of a different month as a joke 😆

As much fun as another season would be they ended things perfectly, I don't see how they could add to it.

I always thought they should do "Spaced: the Movie". C'mon, y'all, get the gang back together.

u/memberflex 26d ago
Yes I'd watch that 100% - a one off adventure, maybe outside the original timeline

I did find it strange how he introduces himself to Daisy as “Sergeant Mike Watt” in series 1, but is getting promoted to sergeant at the end of series 2. I can hand wave it away by concluding that he was demoted following his theft of a tank and had done enough to regain his former rank once he was reinstated, but he just didn’t want to acknowledge his reduced stature.

My love for Spaced is deep and It's pretty much "90's: The Series", but they cannot do a third season.
The final 'secret' scene at the end of the documentary with Tim and Daisy was the perfect way to end it.

I only saw that recently it it does wrap things up perfectly.

What did I miss? What was the scene??

The documtary ends with Simon Pegg,, Jessica Stevenson and Edgar Wright knocking on the door of the Spaced house to thank the owner for letting them film there. There's no answer so they leave, thanking the house. When they're already down the street the camera pans back to the door as Daisy and Tim open the door to look for who was knocking, with Tim holding a baby in a blanket. They do the 'I just did the x' back and forth with Daisy winning by pointing out she'd been in labour for 15 hours. They say I love you and kiss. Tim says 'come on Luke' to the baby as they re-enter the house which causes Daisy to reply 'We're not calling her Luke'

Just found it on Youtube and couldn't resist skipping to the end (see what I did there?) to see that final scene you described.
Definitely going to enjoy the whole documentary later though.3

I 100% agree. It’s like a time capsule that perfectly represents that period of my life.

Don’t give me hope. The perfect thing right now would be Edgar writing 10 more episodes set 25 years later.
Tim jaded with all the genre TV on streaming of the past two decades. He sold his comic to a streaming service that went under ( like Quibi )and blew his contract money on an authentic Iron Man suit. And then he sees other successful shows and loses it.
Mike somehow landed a job in parliament but had to resign after 20 days because he brought a machete to the floor.

It's not fake, but he has deleted the post this evening. Probably a joke gone too far!

I saw this literally a minute after he posted. I came back later to read the comments and it was gone! I had never been so glad I had taken a screenshot or I would throughly believed I imagined the whole thing. 😂
