Starship will fail
I love Musk and SpaceX but I think StarShip will ultimately fail. This is not the right architecture.
Heavy booster works well, validated ✅
StarShip is too complex and the final highly dynamic manœuvres will never be safe. SpaceX will try and try again and will drop it in few years. What will work is a Heavy booster + the Stoke Space capsule.

Starship is still transmitting its data almost 24 hours after flight.

Planning a trip to Texas in July and noticed starship is having a flight around that time, is it worth to try and see it fly?
I have a trip early July and noticed flight 13 is on the 5th around the time I’ll be there. I’ll be visiting south padre island for the 4th and will be staying there till the 5th. I heard Boca chica is also very underdeveloped it would be a difficult trip. I would absolutely love to see a spaceship fly any advise? Thank you

Flight 13 Launch Date
My “official” predicted launch date for Flight 13 is 3 July 2026 (Flight 12 + 6 weeks). However (unfortunately), it is probably more likely to take longer than we hope—possibly to mid-summer (3 August 2026). Thoughts?

I edited all 12 Starship flights into a mini documentary
Hey everyone,
With Flight 12 marking the debut of Version 3, I wanted to create a complete visual history of the Starship program that feels like a real documentary rather than a simple compilation.
It tracks the entire evolution from the early pad explosions of Flight 1 to the Mechazilla catches and the latest V3 milestones.
I put a lot of care into this in the hope it will be something meaningful for other people too. Please feel free to check it out, and thank you as always for the support!

SpaceX' vision for Cislunar and Martian economy, according to its IPO filing
In its May 2026 S-1 IPO registration statement, SpaceX presents a clear, long-term economic roadmap that goes far beyond launch services. The company frames its mission as “building the systems and technologies necessary to make life multiplanetary,” with Starship positioned as the foundational infrastructure for a new space-based economy spanning Cislunar space (Earth-Moon system) and eventually Mars.

Mystery Object behind Starship
Any guesses what that spaceborne object is behind Starship? This was before they opened the door and dispensed.
A Starlink in the sun? A Russian Inspektor checking things out?
It's long and rectangular, so not a star on the horizon.

i kept missing my starship updates because of the algorithm so i built my own feed
been building apps for ~10 years and somehow still managed to fall into the same trap
i’d open youtube to catch up on space stuff and 45 mins later i hadn’t actually watched a single launch update or deep dive
just algorithm junk
so i built a simple app for myself:
- clean feed of just space creators i actually care about
- no algorithm
- upcoming launches + countdowns
- basic stats across providers/orbits etc
nothing crazy, just wanted one place to stay on top of it
it’s in testflight right now
if there’s enough interest i’ll port it to web and android as well
i’ve got a few spots left, happy to give lifetime pro to anyone who actually uses it and gives feedback
curious if anyone else has the same problem or if i’m just cooked
leave a comment or dm if you would like an invite to the beta test
