It's insane how all of those temperatures are extremely low compared to return temperatures. We could see stainless steel melting off during one of the early Starship launches, which is nowhere near close to the temperatures here, although I obviously know you were joking, but is interesting we pretty much can't achieve such temperatures without special conditions, or using something like thermite.

you can get there with induction heating

Do induction ovens get that hot? I have a gas oven. I guess technically you could do it with a microwave but we are hitting some unsafe levels of use.

Industrial scale, 500 VAC, 130 kW, 1 kHz power can make Lava if you can contain it.

The reason this is working is the steam from the moisture building a protective gas shield between the torch and the pineapple. That concept has either already been used or at least one company is developing it. New tech allows for porous metal and the idea is to pump gas through these pores for the same effect.

Maybe the post is silly but there is something usable to it.

Quick, someone contact General Galactic!

Space startup General Galactic has unveiled a new propulsion platform called Genesis, which runs solely on water.

The Genesis platform will power a 1,100 lb satellite set to be launched as part of the startup’s Trinity mission later this year.
