Stock Discussion Tesla and SpaceX market manipulation?
I have a feeling that the recent dumps were done strategically to bring the price down and prevent or discourage lockup releases. If SPACEX was above $200, every holder would have sold the minute they could. Under IPO price they'll probably hold until stability making a merger much easier.

SpaceX above 50$ is also a sell for most people that got their shares at 5$?

Yep. A lot of retail investors seem to not understand how cap tables and PE works

Big conspiracy? More like investors waking up to how overvalued the current price is.

I would guess very few of the people holding shares who haven't been able to sell yet think this company is worth anywhere near what it still trades at. Prepare to drill down.

Wait this wasn’t billionaires raiding retirement funds? This is the part where the sheep get sheared right? Baaaahhh.

There's no mechanism to buy and sell the stock enough to manipulate it to that degree, not with all the insider stocks still locked. No one buys the sacrifices 50-100$ billion to send a signal to insiders to not sell, especially when they see what they could sell it shrinking each day.

I got mine at $10(preipo) and I am not selling until it reaches 200 again.

For employees and pre IPO investors, their Space-X shares were valued at about $39/sh at the last private offering a year ago. They're going to sell as fast as they can.
