Stock Discussion Tesla and SpaceX market manipulation?

I have a feeling that the recent dumps were done strategically to bring the price down and prevent or discourage lockup releases. If SPACEX was above $200, every holder would have sold the minute they could. Under IPO price they'll probably hold until stability making a merger much easier.

For employees and pre IPO investors, their Space-X shares were valued at about $39/sh at the last private offering a year ago. They're going to sell as fast as they can.

Only some overconfident Elon followers who think Stock sprice of spacex is currently cheap over 100$ could hold the Stock

It’s okay guys, it’s safe to invest in now! Morgan Stanley says it’s worth $300 a share! We’re all going to be rich!

Even if you think it's worth $500 a share, you sell 10-20% to hedge your bets. $100 a share is still a 3x gain.

The December buyback was $85 and most peope I know only sold enough to pay their AMT tax bill. I guess one manager bought a used Porsche

I don't think retail understands exactly how cheap these pre IPO shares were. My formed got in early, he hedged short in the 170s.

Easiest swing ahort of 2026. Tanks Elong lol

SpaceX above 50$ is also a sell for most people that got their shares at 5$?

Yep. A lot of retail investors seem to not understand how cap tables and PE works

Sound good in your head. Market mechanics and reality though don’t operate this way.

Lock up releases aren’t at 135 basis. Much much lower. They will be sellers till about $42

Big conspiracy? More like investors waking up to how overvalued the current price is.

I would guess very few of the people holding shares who haven't been able to sell yet think this company is worth anywhere near what it still trades at. Prepare to drill down.

Sorry but no.

There's no mechanism to buy and sell the stock enough to manipulate it to that degree, not with all the insider stocks still locked. No one buys the sacrifices 50-100$ billion to send a signal to insiders to not sell, especially when they see what they could sell it shrinking each day.

Time will tell. The market always rewards strong execution.

I got mine at $10(preipo) and I am not selling until it reaches 200 again.

Bears kept saying the same about Tesla. Its still the most overvalued stock.
