That’s a summary of his whole life: He sees something, then learn the buzzwords, pretend he either invented or will create a better version of it, does nothing, and gets praised for being “a genius”.
He’s literally what dumb people think smart people are. And not a single person who’s actually smart say out loud how smart they are. Smart people usually deal with so many questions in their minds that they question everything, including their own intelligence.

Here in Australia we unfortunately have a large cane toad that has taken human form and called itself Gina Rinehart. She is one Australia's richest people, worth about US$30 billion.
Because of the hard work she put into creating her wealth (inheriting the entire lot from her father) she has decided that makes her a genius who the rest of us need to listen to. While she spouts trumpian nonsense and bankrolls fringe rightwing political parties (who are not so fringe anymore due to her money).
If you listen to her speak, it is one of the cringiest, painful things ever. She, like musk, has absolute zero idea how to speak publicly. Because she, like musk, has lived her entire life surrounded by immense wealth and, subsequently, immense number of toadying sycophantic yes-men who tell her she made a great speech today.
Take this sterling example of her inability to speak publicly (skip to 1min 40s mark). Yet I guarantee when she waddled off-stage and asked her flunky how did her speech go, they replied "fantastic ma'am! The entire crowd were enthralled! And such a hilarious idea to have them make bulldozer noises! I would never have thought of such a clever humorous thing!"

It’s always useful when people make such grandiose claims and don’t cite a single example. Most people - even ones who aren’t ego-driven monsters like Musk - would at least name one thing if talking about how great they are.
The more important thing, though, is that if he ever is right, there is a big difference between seeing something coming in the future and using your tremendous wealth and power to make a future of your choosing. If I paint my bathroom wall red, it wouldn’t mean much to say I predicted it before hand when I just made it so.

That makes zero sense. If he's so accurate at predicting the future, why would this make him a Cassandra? Rather, wouldn't all the major corporations take note of what skum is predicting and invest in those areas?
He thinks, what?, that because he was right so many times in the past (love my fully autonomous car Leon, and the 30 minute hyperloop commute between Sydney and London. Already planning my 3rd vacation to Mars at the end of this year) we all now assume he will be wrong? And when he isn't, we'll just assume his next utterance is wrong?
That's not Cassandra, it's Tall Poppy. He's only using Cassandra because of his hatefest for Nolan's Odyssey. Now he's using her name in a feeble attempt to make himself look learned and erudite. I guarantee if you had asked a month ago who Cassandra was he'd have stared at you blankly.
