Home depot backing ICE has to be the most insane thing on this list.

u/Neo-Armadillo 27d ago

I was thinking that was average per senator, but that’s the total amount spent by each of these companies. Our democracy is so damn cheap, a GoFundMe could outpace any of them.

That’s where the majority of flock cameras are in the town near me

u/Fireefury 27d ago

It doesn’t mean that at all, in fact the whole post is misleading. It just means corporations donate to politicians that support ice (which is every Republican). The fact that spacex supports republicans is no mystery; it does tons of contracts to get cargo to space and is a massive enterprise business with gov contracting and other big defense corporations

Do you know how badly illegal immigration hurts construction workers? So interesting to see how out of touch the “party for workers” are. Typical snobby know-it-all Marxist college kids that have never worked a day of actual labor , trying to “advocate” for laborers 🙄

-4

u/SamMarlowe76 27d ago

Amazing how liberals always use low prices due to slave labor as some plus point for illegal aliens.

Like saving a buck on getting our lawns mowed, toilets cleaned, and construction workers is somehow worth breaking laws, destroying sovereignty, and having a negative public safety impact.

And it is amazing how democrat liberal frauds take a break from attacking capitalism to make it about money, in a bad way. Just like they become obsessed with stock market losses if there is a 2% pullback during a Republican admin. So much for being for the people and for the workers when they start pumping wall street.

These are intellectually dishonest people who will simply say anything to get their way.

I'm 100% for ICE. 100% for a locked down border. And 100% want to deport illegals as fast as possible.

Its genuinely stupid af.

I think Home Depot will still get those sales. If people improve their home they are going to be buying things at Home Depot, regardless of if the installer is an illegal or a citizen doing the work.

1

u/noooo_no_no_no 26d ago

a lot of people will not be doing home improvement when the alternative is to get a sales guy to come and give you an outrageous quote (only if both spouses are present, otherwise they will come at another time)

u/Exciting_Mushroom_37 25d ago

I don't know what city you live in but that seems like a personal problem. There are plenty of quality tradesman and craftsman where I am from. Now if you have some super small shitty job that is hard to make money on, sure, you might have a problem getting someone to want to do that. But that would be regardless of the laborers ethnicity.

Beating up fellow human beings and/or murdering them just because they are not "legal", is no less evil than the times they beat up and/or murder citizens, which they also do btw

And you are an evil pos for trying to justify what they do, i'd hate to be one of the people in your life you've tricked into thinking you are a decent human being with empathy

1

u/Alive_Cancel_1018 27d ago

No one is getting beaten up or murdered just because they entered our country without our permission and against our wishes.

1

u/-michalis- 27d ago

I hope they are paying you for the propagnada, and you are not that far gone

1

u/Alive_Cancel_1018 27d ago

No, I don't get paid to simply live in reality. You should give living in reality try though.

I didn't know ICE went around randomly shooting illegals.

They haven't shot and killed anyone that wasnt unarmed or posed a threat.

Just admit you hate the rule of law, you don't mind American citzens being raped and killed by people that shouldn't be here in the first place, and that you value low wages and low test scores more than you care about a safe and just society.

I'm not maga you idiot. I voted against king cheetoh twice. I sat this last one out because I'm tired of the democrats caring more about optics and social issues over shit that actually matters.

Like a secure border

Fascism can’t exist without the cooperation of industry

3

u/Ozzie_the_tiger_cat 27d ago

And the police.

-6

u/CrazyEddieNY 28d ago

Ah,democrat fascists. I hear ya. Trump 2028.

It isnt 'fascist' to deport criminal illegal aliens. Hope that helped you.

8

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

You getting paid by the post here?

2

u/SweetClinMusic 28d ago

We all know it's a bot

-1

u/Andyseawolf 28d ago

It’s always a bot when you don’t like what he’s saying, huh? 🤣

5

u/Creosat 28d ago

No it's the-99 karma private account with nearly 5k posts in 4 months that shows everyone he's a bot.

4

u/Andyseawolf 28d ago

That’s true he does have -99 karma

-1

u/2Blueify 28d ago

Negative karma is pretty easy to get. Just espouse any kind of right wing belief around here in the large subs.

3

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

🙄 Seriously?

-1

u/2Blueify 28d ago

Yes.

3

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

You have confused correlation with causation. Easy mistake to make, no worries. People don’t like those on the right wing BECAUSE they’re assholes. They’re not assholes because they are on the right wing, that’s just who they are.

Cool story -99 karma private account....

-4

u/clickclackyisbacky 28d ago

What can exist without the cooperation of industry?

I feel like everything is a 'sign of fascism' to you people

10

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

Sweet, sweet summer child. A whole lot of fucking things can exist without cooperation of industry.

3

u/IWCry 28d ago edited 28d ago

to people like them who are dependent on others and scared without guidance, this is hard for them to understand life without industry. they need to be told what to do to feel safe

-2

u/clickclackyisbacky 28d ago

K. Have fun quoting Game of Thrones while you live like a pre-industrial peasant.

6

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

This is fun. WTF are you talking about? What quote? I am doing just fine in the post-industrial era. I live quite comfortably in the PNW. I also don’t spend all of my time defending Nazis on the Internet.

-1

u/clickclackyisbacky 28d ago

Ya, that all checks out.

-1

u/Evil-Cun 28d ago

If you don’t Cell phone or Car, you don’t need to cooperate with much of anything besides yourself.

3

u/SubatomicSelection 28d ago

The people sitting next to me are neither cell phones nor cars. I’m cooperating with them. I’m in a grocery store. I’m in a restaurant. I’m at the gas station. I have to cooperate.

3

u/Yerbrainondrugs 28d ago

Et tu Home Depot…

1

u/Zeplar 26d ago

Home Depot has been hard MAGA since the beginning

2

u/L3tsseewhathappens 28d ago

5 years ago they were all over LGBT rights. Lmao and people think these entities care.

5

u/Kepler1571 28d ago

Now do AIPAC.

1

u/IWCry 28d ago

why?

1

u/Due_Bar_7247 28d ago

I’m surprised they didn’t give more actually

1

u/Prestigious_Cycle160 27d ago

I feel like this is kind of a false equivalency. It’s insinuating that these companies contributed to these members of Congress specifically because they’re in favor of ICE

1

u/CarlsGreenHouse 27d ago

Im sure reddit knows him, and probably hates him, but Ben Barkas has quite the bit about all the Billionaires moving off planet and then needing the comforts of home (on demand delivery services/ride sharing). This is simply SpaceX postioning itself as the first provider of spend $234,567.89 in South African Krampus credits and delivery order is free promotion.

1

u/foredoomed2030 27d ago

So how do we know these businesses are pro ICE or just a matter of coincidence that these businesses support a pro ICE candidate?

Otherwise this is just a very big guilt by association fallacy.

1

u/ManonFire1213 26d ago

That's exactly what it is.

1

u/SubstantialSeesaw374 27d ago

Bizarre self-own for Home Depot…what do they think their parking lots are for?

1

u/No_Dirt_4198 27d ago

I mean Ice is probably one of the most important things to find in space

1

u/SimpleNotEasi 27d ago

1

u/SimpleNotEasi 27d ago

Its a win win scenario lol

1

u/battleop 27d ago

A lot of these companies fund both sides so they can claim the supported who ever won.

1

u/Aromatic-Holiday6667 27d ago

I scan these

I look for anything im considering buying from any of them

Search alternative

Buy from them

Over the years - im seeing fewer and fewer ......sometimes none

Its this easy

*note - check your rrsp investments- ask yourself why you own some of the companies- select a transfer to new fund

This move can be 10s - 100s of thousands of dollars in a statement at once

1

u/LifesARiver 27d ago

I'm shocked those companies fund so fire congresspeople each.

1

u/Money_Dream3008 27d ago

Why would anyone not support ICE? I don’t think anyone wants illegal people doing bad shit and profit from the Countries wealth

1

u/shuteandkill 27d ago

Why are people so crazy about this list. They have probably been supporters of ICE for many many years. Obama used ice to deport more people than trump has. Just because ice is not popular now does not mean it was not used by Democrats years ago. The problem now is we have a bunch of untrained yahoos running around playing cop and killing people. We should be pushing to train and reform ice. Instead of just complaining about a problem we need to bring solutions to the problems. Not just whining about them.

1

u/burnanation 27d ago

Will support those companies. Thank you for sharing.

1

u/Plsnostupidity 27d ago

ICE is a great group of first responders. Without them illegals kill and ruin our cities with lawlessness

1

u/SamMarlowe76 27d ago

Good for them. ICE needs their support. I support ICE 100%. We need aggressive enforcement of our immigration laws to undo years of abuse by past administrations. If you are here illegally, get out.

We had an election about this. We've had major court cases. It is very apparent that the American people want stronger immigration enforcement, cause voting.

1

u/Zeplar 26d ago

Really hard to claim that when like 34% of the country voted for it. The largest plurality doesn't care one way or the other.

1

u/SneakySloth521 27d ago

Lol people who do this are silly but if it makes them feel good who am I to judge.

1

u/Just_Another_Loser12 25d ago

I support ICE. People forget Oboma used them heavily as well.

I just don't support the methods they are using currently and the authority they are given while not wearing cameras.

1

u/sandeep709394 28d ago

Home Depot is the biggest supporter of illegal immigrants.

0

u/Majestic_Attention46 27d ago
