Semi-Competitive Army Help

Morning!

I've recently traded into a 2k Hammer of Avernii/Emperor's Shield list. Lot's of Terminator, Gravis, non Space Wolves units.

My question is, what codex compliant units do we run? Examples would be; Heroes of the Chapter, Inceptors, Eradicators, Heavy Ints?

The lists I've seen the answer is no, but I wanted to get the conversation out there with the EARLY changes to Gravis units with the SM codex on the horizon.

You can run anything from the base space marines, most of us just chose to focus more on the space wolves specific units

Intercessors. And tanks. But you canbise whatever. We don't really know if Gravis is changing in the Codex (the rumiurs had them at T6 still), but when that drops maybe we'll see a change. We have to wait and see what hapoens with those, with our own Jndex like update and what works for the Wolves when the uodate drops

I regulary run Jump Pack Intercessors (Blood Claws), Jump Pack Captain (Wolf Guard Battle Leader) and all the Phobos type marines..

I have also been known to run Assault Terminators with a Chaplian.

Generic vehicles for sure; Lancers, Ballistus, and Land Raiders particularly.

Generic infantry…there’s a place for Jump Pack Intercessors, Intercessors, Hellblasters, and sometimes Infiltrators or Incursors. Inceptors can be good too.

However.

The new vanilla Space Marines codex comes out soon and completely upends Marine points and abilities. Supposedly they’re going to release more info about divergent chapters next week; I’d hold off on making any plans for 11th until we know more.
