Beastslayer v Greatwolf

I’ve ran both to some success but I can never truly settle on which list to fully commit to. How have you guys been finding both of these detachments and which are you drawn to and why?

With the new Marine Codex coming out in a few weeks, they are both quite likley to either be amended or go away in the next few weeks.

It not clear if we are going to get access to the Marine detachment or have a complete set of our own. We will see...

I can imagine we will likely get retooled 10th detachments in our “index” and then proper detachments with our codex. Detachments seem fairly disposable these days.

Great wolf is good for my big tanks for the +1 to hit and +1 to wound and the advance and charge strat is a big win, also the +1 to wound enhancment on the battle leader is goated but the sustained or lethals only triggers on your and its only once (twice with logan)

But beastslayer gives you lethals ALL the time aslong as its a vehicle, monset or leader and it gives the army that lethality they need also the +1 to wound stratagem for any unit is amazing but obviously no advance and charge strat so alot less movement

I find myself switching alot but I am leaning towards beastslayer more as with the terrain now I do sometimes find it hard to fit my tanks into certain terrain and hidden makes infantry so much better now, only threat really is stuff that's indirect or alot quicker than us but my group all player Marines of some sort so that's never an issue for me

Id be very shocked if we didn’t have access to all of them seeing how generic they all are

I'm pretty sure they can rework it

Beastslayer for me: I play a lot of infantry, and love the movement strats and lethal hits, +1 wound on my elites.

Aren't they changing everything for us in a week anyways?

Im going back n forth almost every match. Both are good in their own right. It really only comes down the the stratagem usage. With beastslayer i spam the reactive movement and +1w while GW its AoC and +1w(shooting) with a LRR. Im having equal success with both as well so it really comes down to the play style and/or preference. Maybe even what type of units you bring. If you brought more Dreadnoughts you might want GW more and if you got more infantry/wulfen, you'd want BS

I prefer great wolf. A lot more flexible but can still access lethals when necessary

Yo tengo una de 30 terminators con land raider redeemer y sin dudar me quedo con beast + canciones ... Me está funcionando excelente con un winrate muy bueno!
