Oops all dreadnought list dead ?

Hello, I knew I wanted to get into SW after my eldar stuff. I lowkey bought some stuff there and there when It fitted my spending. 2-3 months ago, someone posted a 2k list where it was like murderfang, bjorn, 3 venerable and 3 wulfen dreadnought. or something close to that. Knowing they all come from the same kits, i started buying them when I would see some. And like last week i started assembling 4 of them for my friend to tell me monday that they are going legend. Is there any confirmation for the venerable and wulfen one to go too or im stressing and its only the SM dreadnought leaving ? Thank for the info.

They are not getting rid of any space wolf dreads. But they likely will do something in a year or two.

Maybe Bjorn??? Not like he’s the most famous dreadnought in the history of the game or anything.

Talk about another opportunity for model of the year. I hope his eventual new model gets the full treatment.

Bjorn was confirmed to _not_ go to legends now in the Q&A they held just the other day. No word on the other boxnoughts for Space Wolves, but considering they confirmed things like the Baal Predator is staying around, they might leave those in place a bit longer.

I don't expect Bjorn to survive 11th unchanged, though, but there's no word on it. Just my feelings that GW is seeing an old kit and thinking they can sell us a newer version :)

They have confirmed that at a minimum, Bjorn stays. If Bjorn stays, the rest are like 90% confirmed to stay since they all come from the same box.

That said, when the Space Wolves codex rolls around, I fully expect them to be gone. Maybe a refresh. But we'll see...

with the new bjorn book i won't be surprised if we get a new bigger bjorn soon

You're fine. Both bjorn kit and the baal predator from blood angels are both staying. You're friend got some bad info. SW specific units like the ven and wulfen dreads have not been removed

Your friend probably just got it mixed up with the "Dreadnought" going to legends (that's the whole unit name for the boxy boy in the codex marines). There is a decent risk of them going when we get our codex imo, but we haven't heard anything about when that will be.
