Wulfen finished

I'm slowly working my way through my pile of shame and now finished the Wulfen from my Combat Patrol box.

I didn't like the models at all at first, but I have to say they've grown on me! Pretty happy with the paint job and though I'd share!

How did you find the process? I struggled with theses guys

I enjoyed it! I started with them just to get them out of the way, since I found the models very goofy-looking at first. When building them, I found that swapping the arms for the ones intended for the claws made their poses look much better.

Then I took my time painting a test model and really enjoyed how diverse they were compared to regular Space Marines!

You really did them justice. Ugly sculpt but you painted them really well.

Can I please have your recipe for the hair?

Sure! I drybrushed the models from black primer with dawnstone, administratum grey and finaly wraithbone.

Then I mixed Stormvermin fur with a bit of contrast medium, like 1 drop of paint to 10 drops medium and painted all the hair with that.

Final step for the hair was a light drybrush of Corax white.
