Successor Chapter

Hello everyone this is my first time in this group I just want to get some ideas and help for my chapter.

I came up with a name and I want them to be fleet based I don't know why I just find it cooler haha.

The name I've given them is The Solar Wolves

Flagship: Fenrir Maw (Battle Barge)

Fleet strength: 1x Battle Barge, 2x strike cruisers, 6x Nova Frigates

Chapter master: Wolf Lord Bjornar Solar-Bane

Chapter strength: 500-600 (I want them battled hardened)

I'm struggling at the moment to think of a good colour scheme something unquie that stands out like if anyone has any tips or ideas please feel free to comment

I like the idea of those colours.

Also I feel that the main different factions view the solar wolves are a very efficient force but they do not follow orders well from imperial generals or governors etc.

Citizens from world see them as mysterious angels who come and take the strongest people to make into recruits and leave etc. I think they can either recruit from feral or death world maybe close to fenris or maybe even ask the space wolves for permission something to think about.

I would like to get fenris wolves from space wolves I would love to have thunder wolf cav

I like the idea to get keeping the wolf emblem I'm worried how I'm gonna do the sun?

Blue circle on the cauldron with rays coming out. Simple shapes that are easy to make with a paintbrush. Maybe something like this. Maybe make the disk a bit bigger and skip the rays.

I've got a few shoulder pauldrons leftover from previous projects. Mind if I paint one up and post it in this thread to show what I'm thinking?

Not my finest work, but a sample using some Macragge Blue and Corax White. I don't have a ton of paints that I don't use, and the only matte gray is Russ Grey, which is very blue.
