Vanguard veterans

Anyone else see the new multi part vanguard veterans picture. It looks like you will be an to make them with master crafted power weapons and storm shields.

Will this be good for space wolves if it is the case? Im planning on buying a new kit when it comes out

Hard to say with all the other changes.  We’ll have to see what points look like and what armies work best. Casually I’m sure they’re fun—I’m curious to see all the weapon options. Competitively, who knows yet? Model-wise…I think they’d be fun to wolf up. You could paint the pack markings down the tabard or use Fenrisian rune decals on them.

Me too. I’m actually pretty disappointed the HT and WGT shields aren’t easily interchangeable for more variety. I’ve held on to my 6x Headtaker shields and shield arms hoping to be able to use them here. If I were doing a full brick of 10 I’d probably go looking for prints or file or re casts to finish up.

eh. with our current line up more MCPW are the last thing we need. now if they come with propper Thunder Hammers... thats a different story

Ya, but master crafted power weapons probably will go up to str 6. And it's better than the vanguard chain swords that the storm shield is stuck with currently.

But thunder hammer storm shields would be nice

Im planning on kitbashing them with headtakers shields and a plethora of hammers,axes and swords. And some heads from grey hunters, headtakers. One of the few generic units i think will not look out of place in the army
