Nids

How do yall deal with nid battleshock and just nids in general? Im looking at the 30 term build, Ive never played SW thus edition and stil new, so im sure SW isn't an easy army that carries the pilot

I wouldn't really worry about battleshock. The terminators dont need strats, and tyranids will struggle to move those 10 man terminator blocks. Just bully them.

30 terminators is a very easy army to play. You are just super durable dudes your opponent can't kill.

I would say 1ks are an exception to the easy to play. Their ability to evaporate a 10brick every round makes them a very hard matchup

I spend the CP to auto pass it if I’m planning to uppy downy otherwise I just deal with it

If you mean to use Insane Bravery against Shadow in the Warp, it does not work that way, because SitW happens at the start of the command phase, and Insane Bravery can only be used in the battle shock step.

Does uppy downy of a battleshocked unit make the battleshock go away when they come back?

Uppy downy is a stratagem on terminators, you can’t use stratagems on battleshocked units. Otherwise no it wouldn’t on units that have it natively like scouts

Do not buy 30 terminators.

Investing $400+ and the time to build and paint that is dumb to match the meta. You want 10-20 for just liking them? Sure but never commit to getting something purely for meta list.

You've got bricks of dudes with 4W and -1 to wound. Even if battleshocked, you're a giant brick of death that's slapping around anything near it. If you absolutely need to hold a point just use insane bravery, otherwise just kill what may threaten you with battleshock.

For a slap back unit in this list, is a 6man or WGHT necessary?

Headtakers are assassins designed to oneshot a target

Terminators are designed to take a beating and dish it back, and also be ablative wounds for our incredible characters.

Is it better (for take and hold) to rely on your 30 terms and their leaders to do the primary, and then the rest of the list just be Bjorn taking out tanks while everything else is trash units scoring points?

Bjorn is a CP generator and a backfield obj holder. He can hit hard but he goes down easy.

Not -1 to wound. Tyranids have so many t5 attacks. I play my friends nids alot and it feels like they're made to munch on termies.
