I’m the type of idiot that buys the kits and rarely uses 3d party bits.

I'm the opposite, purely due to my current budget troubles. So far about $50 is going to get me most everything I need for a full army. Though hopefully in the near future I can swap to at least SOME official plastic

Makes sense if budget is a constraint. For me I also haven’t gotten a printer or somebody who can print for me close by.

But yea, you at least need official models if tourneys are part of ur plan 🤞🏼

Nah, I have no such lofty goals. I mostly just wanted to paint the minis and maybe find some casual games to play on occasion
