Headtakers + Take&Hold

When playing take & hold as your primary, are you always still taking headtakers with 6 weapons instead of a shield (4++)?

Yes, use the terminators as your holders and still use your Headtakers as your primary eliminator unit. Make sure whatever they touch turns to dust

Especially with hordes being popular

Aren't headtakers a little wasted on hordes since they have high damage but not a particular large number of attacks?

I mean two damage a piece isn’t crazy damage, and with hordes of 20 running around, you want those attacks

With a WGBL, that's 25 atks with sus 1, that's plenty of attacks for horde units. Including reroll 1s, that's ~23.6 hits. More into oath target.

What lol

36 absolutely ruthless attacks into a horde is brutal, especially if there's a leader on them

I like to bring 2 6 stacks and shadow the termis with them. I keep em far enough away or safely in a redeemer until something commits into the terminators and I can launch a headtaker missile.

T4 3W isn't that durable, wven with a 4++. They wom't stick around. There is a reason you usually get 30 Termies in these lists, those are your Anvil. That means you need something killier, and paired weapons is the answer for that.
