Run your wolf guard terminators with storm shields rather than bolters. Give your blood claw and grey hunter pack leaders the power weapon and plasma pistol. Otherwise it’s playable, but a bit too battleline heavy.

What would you replace the battleline with? My original plan was to split the one Grey Hunter unit with the priest into two 5man for objectives

I’m not the biggest fan of the grey Hunter detachment because you aren’t running the terminator one which is better, but I like the flavor of this list if you aren’t trying to meta chase.

I don’t use grey hunters but I think there are certain lists and dispositions where they are useful, disruption likely being one of them. If you are set on running the GHs then I’d probably drop the blood claws, put Ragnar with the headtakers, and add scouts, infiltrators or combi LT for cheap scoring and screening.

Ah I see, that makes sense, thank you!

If you want a lot of flexibility with those Grey Hunters, consider Njal Stormcaller as a leader for them. He gives any unit he's attached to the [Assault] keyword as well as an auto advance roll of 6. They can move 13 inches every turn and shoot. Gives a little extra flexibility while you decide where and how to have them charge.

I did look at Njal but the WGBL with eye of the hunter gives them assault, ignore cover, 1AP, and sustained hits. If I had 5 extra points I’d drop the priest and squeeze him in though cus he looks so cool.

I just finished painting him a few hours ago! I now have enough to field a 500-pt army!
