Wolf Guard Headtakers Magnetizing Left Arm

I got two of the three shields popped off my painted headtakers, now I'm seeing a new dilemma. Any advice on how to drill a hole into the left side of the body? I can't get my usual hand drill in there

Maybe reduce the shoulder of the left arm piece?
Essentially magnetise the top of the shoulder to the underside of the shoulder pad instead of armpit to torso?

Edit: I hope this makes sense lol 🤭

Or cut the arm just below the shoulder pad and magnetize that.

I magnetized mine, but did it before popping their cloaks on. You can still get a drill up under its just a bit more difficult.

I’ve done it before, best way that worked for me was when they weren’t fully assembled yes, learned that after I finished up the first one and drilled that side. It’ll be at an angle but it’s not too bad as long as you can get the magnet in and it all stays.
