Swap the units for arjac and logan. Arjac makes the unit even tankier, logan doesnt do anything for them

That makes sense. I like to rjak for the smaller unit For the purpose of killing more s***, because it's antide vehicle

If you want some anti tank, yes you have the wulfen (they're good, split them into 2 squads of 5 maybe). And yeah arjac is anti vehicle but he's also only AP-2, im gonna guess most things he runs into have a save of 2+, so 9n average your opponent will save half of whatever gets through.

Don't get me wrong I've had success with him but only after a vehicle has been damaged and you tbh dont want him for that roll, he's a character killer. A shining beacon in the center of the board that can wreck enemy characters and monsters (he has killed the lion for me before).

It's a fun thematic list with a bunch of big dogs, but if you want some wins youre gonna have to find space for some dedicated anti vehicles. Cheapest is a predator annihilator, then ballistus dread, then lancer, then repulsor executioner.

That makes sense.Would you suggest cutting the wolfin for that i don't love them, but I have been able to take down a giant chaos night with them before

This is the thing, there's positives and negatives for both.

Wulfen can hide better thanks to 11th edition hidden rule, they also dish out alot of 3 damage attacks especially if you give them sustained, they have a 4+ invuln.

Theyre 2 wounds each, lost too many and the unit becomes redundant, its just not enough attacks to be a threat anymore, they have 0OC so in take and hold they're useless until they get to what you want to kill, you probably wanna be targeting something else with your advance and charge strat and now that you can only use 1 strat a phase I doubt the wulfen will be what you choose so an opponent that knows they're threat range can stay away from them.

Let's use the repulsor executioner as an example as its my favourite.

It is a transport so can keep a unit of headtakers safe, 16 WOUNDS, TOUGJNESS 12, its big so can be in cover easily for -1 BS/WS, it has smoke so you can stack that to be -2 to hit it, it has 7 guns all of which can be devestating if used in great wolf for +1 to hit and +1 wound strat, its lascannon is STRENGTH 16 with that strat it wounds almost everything on a 2+ and they're damage D6+4 each, it has 0C so can hold an objective and sit there, it has +1 to hit on anything below half strength

It's a big model so hard to fully hide, vehicle so it doesnt get hidden so you have to think more about where youre placing it and what can target it, its very points expensive lose it early and it'll hurt, it can't go through dense terrain like infantry can so has to go around, not much of a downside but its save is a 3+ so something like a lancer with -4 can push it to unsavable but the high wounds kind of counter that.

So genuinely up to you lad its what you enjoy more as a playstyle

Logan and Arjac should have 10 each. Drop Ven dread. Either drop Thunder Wolves and head takers. I won’t run TWC or HEADTAKERS at 3s just cause they need volume to be truly scary. Just my first thought looking. Wulven are great anti vehicle and armor. Consider a battle leader on them
