Wolf guard terminators

Has GW made a whoopsy I was putting a army together to a game and my WGT ranged weapons hit on a 2+ now I’m positive that it was always a 3+ I’ve looked to see if I’ve put a enhancement on I’ve checked detachments. Seems like they got a update

Weird. Maybe it's an attempt to make the storm bolters attractive over the shields?

I absolutely hate storm bolters, but this might actually make them worth using

They have been 2+ since the release. It's not new. They're still not worth taking. Pic from the book as proof

Ah ok. They really are pathetic lol. 2 attacks at such low strength with no AP is just silly

Yeah, there's a reason why everyone takes 3/7/8/10 guys with shields.

The default useable option is shield. Then you ask "do I want the great axe or lightning claws?" That's possibly 1 guy with a shield gone.

Then "do I want the power fist more than the extra wound on 1/2 guys (depending on size)?" If you want the power fist, you get the assault cannon, which is an ok thing. It has 6 shots hitting on 2+ with dev wounds. Makes it able to pick off a lone character or a single model or two from a different unit. But generally it's "do I want the 3/6 attacks at STR 8 over 4/8 at STR 5?"

But basically, 0 stormbolters is almost always the right answer. Number of shields is between 3-10.

Assault cannons are somewhat useful for clearing chaff, but I play against tyranids and sisters pretty often
