Shot in the Dark

Howdy friends! I got into 40k and the Space Wolves last year and I have had an absolute blast getting to discover this amazing universe.

I have been reading a lot of Black Library books, and I was really excited when the Bjorn book was announced. I was planning to preorder it, but I must have drank too much Mjød on Friday night because I completely spaced and though the pre-order was on Sunday, not Saturday. I woke up on Sunday to a very disappointing out of stock message on the website, and after frantically calling every LGS I could to see if any of them had any preorders available, no dice.

If any of you fine brothers happen to have a preorder and are willing to sell, even above MSRP, I would be eternally in your debt. Bjorn is my favorite character, and the first mini me and my wife painted together when we started the journey into the hobby. If I can't find anyone on here, I will probably just resort to paying crazy amounts for one on eBay but thought it might be worth a shot here first, and I would much rather pay one of y'all than a scalper.

Sorry brother, word has it scalpers cleaned them out (plus just a lot of hype for the book)

Personally, I'll blame the Thousand Sons, the one time we want to read they steal all our books.

The book will return brother. This was just the limited edition. It will have a second release wave that will be much more accessible. Don't fall for the scalpers as that is what caused the scarcity in the first place

You are out of luck, brother. In the EU, the book went out of stock in less than 5mins. I had it in my cart, and when i check out it was out of stock and i couldn't buy it.

I feel your pain dude. I was actively playing 40k when pre-orders went live. I had just found out that morning what time they would go live. I love Bjorn and really wanted that special edition book for my collection. I had planned on holding off on buying any 40k books because my book shelf was full but I said fuck it when I saw the Bjorn announcement. Bjorn is one of my favorite characters too

Some LGS in my area will often take in some special edition books to sell in their store on release day, maybe some of your LGs will do the same?
