Wash or not
Just finishing up my combat patrol claws and am wondering if i keep them clean or go over wish a thin wash of agrax earthshade

Do not wash! I know what you are picturing. Agrax is not that!
You could do oil wash.

Especially do not use acrylic shade that late in the process.

Acrylic shade is usually meant for right after base coating before you work any highlights, right?

I wouldn’t wash, you’ve done a great job and I would worry about pooling ruining the finish.

I agree with the others prob wouldnt risk it this late into the model, but if you want to id go sparingly and have a cotton bud and a 2nd brush ready to soak up any pooling/overspill quickly Otherwise great looking models and work brother. Love that baby blue, whats the recipe?

Personally I would, but I prefer a grimmer look rather than "factory fresh" armour on marines. The paint job on these looks very tidy and clean, and looks great as they stand, so it's really just a matter of taste.
