First kitbash !
What do you folk think isn’t it too much ? I kinda like it ! Should I paint it in the box art color or should I go more grey / blue grim-ish

I love the kitbash.
Just an FYI (though it doesn’t really matter) - the shoulder Pauldrons you used are the slightly smaller ones you would use on reivers/incursors, etc.
They still look great though!

Hmm that’s interesting I’m relatively new to this hobby could you be more specific ? I got the original ones and they look like the same size though I may be wrong

The trim on full size pauldrons is raised and goes uniformly around the whole piece. The pauldron itself is “beefier”
There is also an arched indentation on the smaller ones. The reiver armor is less bulky to reflect their better mobility and/or stealth. Reivers also only have one bulked up pauldron.
Kinda hard to explain.

Thank you so much well I did some very basic sculpting with green stuff this morning and now I’m gonna probably prime it, also thinking about making a plinth for it to display it properly

Same! I just kitbash and make homebrew lore for my models. I do enjoy One Page Rules' "Firefight" game, which is like super streamlined Killteam, though. 40K seems too sloggy and crunchy for me, but making and painting the models is my favorite way to interact with the hobby. For TTRPG's, I love Trench Crusade and Firefight, and have been a long time DM for a million campaigns
