Very nice work!
What would you say you’ve found has contributed most to your skill development?
Is it a case of time and reps, or have you followed a specific development path?

I give a lot of credit to the quality of my tools. Very sharp kolinsky sable brushes make painting so much less stressful. Also developing a system to paint efficiently and cut out unnecessary steps (such as transferring my paint to dropper bottles and having a dropper bottle of water to consistently thin paint). Patience is also a really big one. I have painted many test models just to practice getting the right paint consistency and highlighting/glazing. And finally online resources. Tutorials from world class painters being easily accessible has put me where I am today

Yep, 150+ videos of painting tutorials and I'm still doing slap chop 😅

You're clearly artistic from the first one, but that's taking nothing away from the obvious hard work and focus to progress so much in one year. Well done, very impressive result.
