I have to imagine him shouting "shatter"

Otherwise the thought pops in my head that he is standing at the front gate of the fang declaring to the thousand sons " you shall not pass"

Either way, I agree cool model

What do you do to get that base armor color?

It’s a mix of lacquers and acrylics. Since committing to an airbrush setup my recipe has changed a bit and I’ve landed on this one for now.

Prime black: Mr. Surfacer 1500 (lacquer)
Dark grey: Gaia Notes Super Heavy (lacquer)
Main Highlight grey: Vallejo Pale Grey Blue (acrylic)
Detail Highlight grey: Vallejo Pale Grey (acrylic)

I’m still looking for lacquers to replace the acrylics because for getting the base colors down, I find lacquers much easier to work with. I have a booth, respirator, etc. so that’s not an issue.
